The Telegraph [reports on the security measures](http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2005/07/10/wpotter10.xml&sSheet=/news/2005/07/10/ixworld.html) undertaken to ensure nobody gets a peek at the next Harry Potter book ahead of time:
* Trucks ordered to go on specific routes, non-stop; and their position constantly monitored by GPS
* Books are sealed in steel containers labeled “do not open before midnight” and chained to one another
* Book dealers had to sign strict contracts, and anybody who breaks the embargo will never again be supplied with any book from the publisher
Still wouldn’t be surprised if someone gets the book scanned on P2P before the official launch date. Not that I really care. I haven’t read any Potter book, or watched any of the movies, and won’t ever. People are making way too much fuss over something that by its very nature can only be a mediocre novel at best.
