I have the greatest sympathies with muslims, especially in regards to how they are being treated by the US and UK. I don’t follow any religion but my attitude is that people should be allowed to believe what they want. (Excepting Scientology and similar sects, maybe, but that is a discussion for another day.) But today, the BBC reports that a [KFC was torched](http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/4715084.stm) over the cartoon nonsense.
If you have lived under a rock: Some months ago a Danish newspaper printed a satire, showing Muhammed with a bomb in his turban. Now, a few weeks ago radical muslims used these cartoons to incite riots.
Despite the question whether a cartoon should be even worthy the anger, what better way is there for these people to prove that the artist was exactly right? It seems to me that the people who are protesting these cartoons – especially those doing so violently – are the best argument anybody could ask for to discredit Islam. Talk about defeating your own agenda.
