Democracy is officially dead

>Germany, which holds the rotating EU presidency, has aimed to put core elements of the aborted 2005 EU constitution at heart of a new agreement.

So the [BBC](http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/6769043.stm) reports.

I remember quite vividly that the EU constitution was rejected in several referendums. It’s nice to know that those democratic votes were worth nothing, and that our rulers will now force the garbage down our throats afterall.

Why go vote anymore? We live in a virtual dictatorship anyway.

  1. Hm. You call that a constitution? Your ten ‘resolutions’, for a lack of a better term, seem pretty much useless to me for any practical purposes.
