Tuesday November 23rd: Düsseldorf Köln.

Friday November 26th – Sunday November 28th: Tolouse

Monday November 29th – Thursday December 3rd: Budapest

The Budapest thing has not been finally decided. Some people at work want me to go, but I really don’t think I should as I will be quite overloaded as it is.

We’ll see.

Anybody who wishes to hook up is of course welcome to let me know, although I won’t have time in -Düsseldorf-Köln for any meetups. TLS and BUD would be much easier.

_Update, November 20th:_ No Budapest for me, phew! By the way, is it “Toulouse” or “Tolouse” en Anglais?

It looks like I may be going to [Nice](http://wikitravel.org/en/Nice) sometime between August 21st to August 28th. We’ll see if that works out.

Maybe one that isn’t spent entirely in this small banking townFinally, I had some sleep. Heh. I am back in Frankfurt, after a short trip to Hamburg via Bremen.

Bremen sucked, because I went there for a funeral, and it wasn’t one of those “glad we’re rid of that dude” funerals, but for someone who will be missed. Hamburg wasn’t all that bad – Family, the Dogon thing and of course the obligatory [Geek Night with Martin](http://www.martinlormes.de/blogger/) (he picked watching “Nerd Nation” on a 23″ Apple Studio Display as an example of the things we do on Geek Night, and that’s a fitting choice).

And let’s not forget the weather in Hamburg which was a traditional mix of storms and heavy downpours.

Today is a lazy day. More rain here in Frankfurt but oddly the sky just turned a pale blue. I think that’s Earths way of playing a trick on me – if I go out now, the rain will start again.

To Do: Shopping, finding a hotel for tomorrow… no other schedules. Yup, hotel – I’ll finally fly to Munich to visit the Deutsches Museum. Will try to take plenty of photos.

And last but not least Friday will see me flying to Paris for the first time in like 2 years, to visit my buddy Chris/Kit/whatevernamehepreferstoday.

If anybody else wants to meet up – in either city – be sure to let me know before I depart as I probably won’t have Internet on location.

Oh, and, if anybody got any smart suggestions what I could do next week, please let me know.

_Munich, Bavaria – February 25th 2004 (well, Late March now)_

I intend to fly to Munich next week. Just for a day. If my plan works out, I’ll visit the [Deutsches Museum](http://www.deutsches-museum.de). If not… well, then I tried. As always, people are welcome to tag along.

_Update, February 16th 2004:_ I had to move the date to February 25th.

_Update, March 5th 2004:_ I had to move it back again. And again. Once due to heavy snow, the other time because there’s yet another funeral coming up and people thought it might be this week. I want to attend, so I am not planning to go to Munich. I have to take the last week of March off, however, so I **will** be going to the Museum eventually.

Titillating News (HA!)

After I seemingly completely missed the Paris Hilton “scandal”, I at least managed to notice the [Janet Jackson Wardrobe Malfunction](http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/3456497.stm) only one the day after it happened. Well it looks like America is still in shock. Heh. I mean, it’s really a scandal – not only a nude breast, but a black one as well. Oh the horror! (That’s sarcasm for those of you too dense to notice it.)

Maybe the horror and shock is because it wasn’t even a very nice breast? Go check out the BBC site. Yes, even the beeb is carrying the photos.
